Capital City Home Loans Continues Their Seven-Year Partnership with Warrick Dunn Charities by Helping to Turn Houses Into Homes

Capital City Home Loans is committed to the communities we serve and the partners who strengthen them.

We are proud to continue our seven-year partnership with Warrick Dunn Charities by helping to turn houses into homes for two hard-working, single-parent families in Tallahassee, Florida. We were honored to join them on their journey to homeownership, alongside Big Bend Habitat for Humanity and Community Sustainability Enterprise.

One of the home recipients was Ms. Eureka, who is a full-time caretaker of her mother and two sons. She was working two full-time jobs in the hopes of becoming a homeowner. Eureka, her two children and her mother were nearing homelessness when the community partnership stepped in, teamed up and gave Eureka and her family the ability to have a house to call home.

Their home is the 188th nationwide that Warrick Dunn Charities has done for their “Homes for the Holidays” initiative, helping single-parent families achieve homeownership. Since the start of the program, Homes for the Holidays has furnished homes, provided over $800,000 in down-payment assistance, and served over 457 single-parent families.
